BONNIE AT 14 DAYS OLD

(Click on the thumbnails to see the full sized pictures)

Bonnie was the first puppy born in a litter of eight, at 07:35 on the morning of Tuesday 23rd May. She has a little bit of red fur on her face, by her ears and at the base of her tail, the only tri-colour in the whole litter.

At 14 days old Bonnie now has her eyes open, and her red colouring has become stronger, and black is now showing through the white giving a colouring of a Blue Roan. All of the puppies are being weighed on a daily basis, and Bonnie is the smallest at the present, although only just, weighing in at 1lb 4 1/2Oz (580g).

We have decided that we are going to keep Bonnie, as it would be nice to keep one of Faith's puppies

At 16 days old, Bonnie is walking well. Her weight is also increasing well, and she now weighs 1lb 7Oz

21 days old, and Bonnie is growing, in every way.......her weight & size, her claws, her teeth and her playfulness. At a weight of  1lb 13 1/4Oz, Bonnie regularly enjoys a game of rough & tumble with her brothers and sisters. She had her first taste of solids today, in the form of readybrek.

Bonnie, now at 26 days old, is now the smallest puppy in the litter at 2lb 5.25Oz., although she still prefers to try and feed from her mother rather than feeding from a bowl. Bonnie is very active, and she loves playing.

Bonnie is 29 days old, and she likes to make sure that the rest of her family are awake whenever she is. When she wakes up, she will insist on climbing over the other puppies, and pulling at them until they join in.

Bonnie is now 6 weeks old, and has kept her name as her official kennel club name. The orange colouring that Bonnie has is now getting much stronger, and covering a larger area than we first thought. Her whole face has now got a lot of red on it, and her front and back paws and legs are also now getting patches of red fur. Bonnie enjoys her regular feed of cables, especially computer cables and leads!!!. Bonnie and Benjamin enjoy playing together, and sometimes their playing gets pretty rough, although they never seem to hurt each other.
